    This has to be the best fish and chips in Haverhill.. not greasy but not dry either..yummy..

    Used to love this place when benny ran it.  It's ok now but nowhere near as good as it was. Food not as good and order not correct when you get your food home.

    this place used to be my only stop for chips /junk food

    its gotten to be a gamble now as they make a habit of pre cooking mountains of food so if your timing is wrong you get some old dried up stuff thats been there for ages

    the staff taking orders are totaly unorganised and its chaos whenever they are busy  with people waiting all over the place and chances are your order will be wrong lol , one of the owners sons is more intrested in acting like a fool and laughing and joking around than customer service

    so bennys...you let your self down , get the customer service right and stop cooking up moutains of food and it could be great again, and tell your son to grow up and stop oafing around

    until then i wont be back

    This establishment appears stuck in a time warp. Years ago Bennys was numero uno. Others have since overtaken and are far supoerior to this chippy.Standards have dropped recently. Feel Benny needs to take a step back and re evaluate the shop . The shop is in the main high street. No legal parking facilities outside during the day. Town car park within easy reach.

    This has got to be the very best chippy in town.

    Benny's is well known and has been established in the town for a long time.

    There is always a large group of staff working who work their socks off as the chippy is continually busy which is a little annoying especially if you are hoping just to run in and out with a bag of chips but these things can't be rushed and it is well worth waiting for.

    Serve a selection of chips, potatoes, kebabs, pies, pancake rolls, drinks etc.

    Not open on a Sunday & Monday but open every other lunchtime and evening, all day on Fri and Sat I do believe.

    Difficult to park outside really as it is on the main High St which is no access road of a day and in the evening you can pass but it is double yellows so you shouldn't really stop there. There are a few car parks nearby though so not too difficult.
